It’s been a minute since we shared our thoughts on this platform! There is no time like the present to shed light on some stellar styling products. We’ve asked one of our talented barbers, Keren Lindley, to list her top three styling products that she loves using in the shop.

American Crew Matte Clay
This is by far the most versatile hair product I have used! Whether you are aiming for a messy, textured finish or a neat slicked-back Pompadour, the Matte Clay does it all. A medium-flexible hold with low shine allows for movement in the hair without it looking ‘greasy’ throughout the day. This clay is suitable for most hair types, particularly short to medium in length; it is easy to use and most effective when applied to dry hair. It also washes out really easily, so it won’t cause too much product build-up over time.
Kevin.Murphy Bedroom Hair
Kevin Murphy’s flexible texturing hairspray is the ultimate combination of spray and wax which allows for an even spread of product that is controlled and easy to apply. If you desire an effortlessly stylish ‘out-of-bed’ look, this is the product for you! Bedroom Hair has a low to medium hold with a matte finish making it the perfect product for those with medium-length textured hair. The product comes in two sizes; a large 250ml can as well as a mini version (100ml) which makes it the perfect travel companion.
The London Grooming Company Volumizing Dust
This product is excellent for men with very fine hair. While a wax may sometimes be too heavy for thinner hair, the Volumizing Dust creates volume and lifts the hair by gently coating each strand in a fine powder. It is best applied by conservatively sprinkling some of this magic dust to dry hair at the root (for lift and volume) or evenly all over ( for fullness and texture) by using the tips of your fingers to work through it. You can disguise receding hairlines and create the illusion of body with this low shine, high hold product.
